under professor kathryn novak, we were instructed to create a new garment for the end-of-semester fashion show using only thrifted materials. along with my group, we constructed designs and up-cycled old denim into a two-piece dress, with an accompanying hat, purse, necklace, and choker. i worked alongside my group, but draped and sewed the skirt, and made the hat and choker accessories.
